For the past two weeks, I have been unable to leave comments on my or any of my fellow librarian blogs.
After deleting cookies, emptying cache and other desperate measures, I have found the solution. I went to settings, under the comment tab and choose "full page" rather than "embedded below post". Don't know why that particular choice caused problems, but just thankful that the problem is solved. So, I will be visiting blogs and making my comments. I know it's too late for points, but I really just want to comment on what a wonderful job and how creative you guys are.

Spoke too soon!!!!! With the changes made, I can now leave comments on my blog, but I'm still not able to leave comments on anyone else's blogs. HELP!!!
Ok, folks, 5 minutes later and I think I have figured out the problem. When signing in, I didn't check "keep me signed in". Once this was done, I was able to leave a comment on Elaine's post. Ooooohhhh, I'm so proud of myself, a real problem-solver I am!!!
That is wonderful that you kept going until you found the answer. I tried and tried to no avail. Now, I will try your way and am sure it will work. I've wanted to comment on your blog a number of times. LOVE the theme you have and the cooking vocabulary you use. Great layout!
It seems everyone has had to find an individual answer to this as it depends on the other settings. Glad you found it as I have been admiring your overall theme and wanted you to know! Have a great day!
